about us

A social group of dedicated fly fishers who are passionate about fly fishing in the tropical north of Australia and equally as passionate about the close camaraderie this sport brings. This passion and dedication led to the creation of the NT Flyfishers Social Mob blog site; an interactive and creative outlet where everyone can share our wonderful fly fishing adventures and link into the “after fishing” social events we enjoy in this incredible part of the world.

BYNOE HIT...FIRST FOR THE YEAR!

With the weather cooling/warming (don't really know what its doing) and the dragon flies out (although I did see some that were drowned in the last downpour) the dry must be here???  Or it may not....

No matter what we need a Bynoe hit.  The tides for the weekend of the 12th and 13th of April look great for the flats, and the Anzac weekend looks great too. (Easter?... might do some fly tying/eating/drinking but will let you know what the go is)

So we have booked for Bynoe and  bugger the weather........

Here are the tides for that weekend, more to come as the weekend gets closer.

  1. See you down there. From all accounts the water has cleared and heaps of bait around. Will be out there at the mouth of Jim's creek!
