about us

A social group of dedicated fly fishers who are passionate about fly fishing in the tropical north of Australia and equally as passionate about the close camaraderie this sport brings. This passion and dedication led to the creation of the NT Flyfishers Social Mob blog site; an interactive and creative outlet where everyone can share our wonderful fly fishing adventures and link into the “after fishing” social events we enjoy in this incredible part of the world.

FIRING AT MANINGRIDA

From Alex Julius

Here's the 106cm barra James Bradstreet caught yesterday fishing with guide Lennie Sibio. Apparently lost one bigger the next cast. His group of 12 caught 733 barra in 3 days. Dave Thomas, our Lodge Manager, also sent through a "rough" photo of the Boys' scoreboard as they are very competitive. Today's their last day then James reckons they'll be tearing Darwin Town apart tonight before flying back to Newcastle and elsewhere in NSW tomorrow.
