about us

A social group of dedicated fly fishers who are passionate about fly fishing in the tropical north of Australia and equally as passionate about the close camaraderie this sport brings. This passion and dedication led to the creation of the NT Flyfishers Social Mob blog site; an interactive and creative outlet where everyone can share our wonderful fly fishing adventures and link into the “after fishing” social events we enjoy in this incredible part of the world.

THIS WEEKEND DARWIN/BYNOE

A bit of an update for this weekends Darwin/Bynoe shoot out.  It looks like Lord Jim, Crusty, Wayno and Graeme the Grey will be out on Bynoe, while Pete D, The Stig and I will be on Darwin.

The weather is the only worrying factor, but it can change at the drop of a hat.  The wind will apparently be from the WSW which makes the eastern facing flats the most accessible, but BOM have this out for the weekend, with the wonderful little warning,

TC "Gillian" check latest cyclone warnings

so just in case keep an eye on the weather.

here is a typical tide for the days, so you can launch in gentlemens hours and pretty well get in and out all day...

here is the secret weapon....(Jim confiscated a lot of them)
