I know there are a few of you heading out this weekend to Bynoe, and some to Corroboree, just on the latter according to Dion it is very quiet out there of an evening, hardly any boats, or fish, and to quote him,
"Theories? The rapid shift between stinking hot and bloody cold may have something to do with it. The sheer numbers of mini tarpon and rainbows may also be a factor with a lot of full fish swimming around. Tell you what though, I have never been on Corroboree with no other boats in 27 years of fishing that waterway. It was a erie experience, but a great one nonetheless."
So those of you on Corroboree, may have it quiet, or with luck its the lull before the storm. Hope So.
Roxley has been out at Bynoe, but the tides have not been that good, and it was hard fishing in the wind. He enjoyed himself though and we may get a bit more on the fishing later.
The wind and the tides may favour you out there this weekend though....here is the wind predictions
Tides are starting to more, so could be some good fishing out there, the water is apparently crystal clear, so find a spot out of the wind and you should be fine.
We are still tying a heap of flies over the weekend so nobody is left short for the cup, mainly little crazy charlies and these Dodgie Gusto Things? for want of better names.
I have been told the colour that works the best, but you will have to work out the code....good luck here it is...
