about us

A social group of dedicated fly fishers who are passionate about fly fishing in the tropical north of Australia and equally as passionate about the close camaraderie this sport brings. This passion and dedication led to the creation of the NT Flyfishers Social Mob blog site; an interactive and creative outlet where everyone can share our wonderful fly fishing adventures and link into the “after fishing” social events we enjoy in this incredible part of the world.

Crab Claw Bynoe Harbour

First charter this season from Crab Claw.

Road at the moment is atrocious but will be repaired next week, the flats still have a bit of fresh colour to them but there are a lot of small to medium Queenfish and Trevally.

Encountered quite a few groups of Golden Trevally which was nice and the rock bars are carrying lots of nice sized Snapper.

Lost a few Barra at first but their showing a bit more interest this fish at 82 cm's was my first Barra for a client in 2014 and his first Barra ever
